Meditation How to's
Hey Everyone, for those who are new to meditation or just want some guidance please read below.
Remember meditation is a work in progress
Sit or lie somewhere you won't be disturbed
Pop some meditation music on guided or not.
Get as comfy as possible
Place your hands on your heart and take 3 deep slow breaths in and out
You can even say with each breath....
First breath letting go of all thoughts
Second breath letting go of all aches and pains
Third breath allowing my self to relax into the now
Now just be notice your thoughts, notice the sounds around you, notice how you body feels, notice your breath.
Don't let your mind wander or grab onto what you notice and create a story just keep noticing.
Come back to your breath if your mind wanders, thats ok it happens sometimes a lot.
This time is for you to get to connect more to yourself somedays you may uncomfortable or irritated other days the time will fly by.
Start with 5 mins just showing up is a start.
